Newborn lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your own home and occur in the first month of your baby’s life. Bringing home your baby is such an amazing milestone, and I am here to document those fleeting newborn moments. My Houston newborn photography sessions are baby-led and very natural. I will give you some direction, but I truly focus on your family’s connection and moments you spend with your new babe.
Northwest Houston Newborn sessions last 1-2 hours and occur around mid-morning. I use all the areas in your home that have the best natural light. I usually use living areas, bedrooms, and baby’s nursery if you have one! I don’t use any props at my Houston newborn photography sessions, but I will bring some swaddles, a sound machine, and a Moses basket!
I serve Houston, Texas and surrounding areas such as Cypress, Katy, Memorial/Spring Branch, Houston Heights, and the Woodlands.

A 20% non-refundable retainer is due at booking and your remaining balance is due 7 days before your session date.
Travel fees apply to locations 30 miles outside of North Houston. Photo turnaround time is 3 weeks.

Frequently Asked questions
When to book a newborn session?
It is never too early to take care of booking your Houston newborn photography session! I recommend booking a session while in your second trimester! We will book your due date, and schedule the actual session after your baby comes!
Do you do newborn poses?
I do not! I take a relaxed and lifestyle approach to newborn sessions. I will take natural photos of your baby in their crib, or on a bed, but I do not pose newborns!
Do I need to clean my house before the session?
Look, you just had a baby, please don’t clean your house! I do ask that you tidy up the main living areas that get the best natural light, that is where we will be doing the session!
What should we wear?
Simple is best! I recommend neutrals or lighter colors. Layers of texture or patterns can also add some depth. If you are looking for more specific styling advice, just let me know!
What if my baby is awake during the session?
My Houston newborn photography sessions are baby-led and are all about documenting real moments you share with your baby. So even if your baby doesn’t stay asleep during the session, we will still get precious photos of them, so not a problem at all!
Can my other family members be included in the session?
Yes! We will be having the session at your home and that means everyone is included!
