Baby and Kid’s 1st began in 1987 when Larry and Yvette Muller were about to have their third child, Jordan. The couple found themselves unable to maintain a full-time job while raising three young children. So they made the decision for Yvette to stay home and raise the kids.
Baby and Kid’s 1st started as a way for Yvette to earn extra income for the family during her time as a stay-at-home mom and operated the business out of their home. They used Jordan’s nursery as the showroom and their garage as the warehouse. A year later, they welcomed another son and added another showroom to their home. They grew to be passionate about their business, and more than 30 years later, Baby and Kid’s 1st is Houston’s premier baby shop, with two convenient locations that serve families in the Greater Houston area.

Baby and Kid’s 1st carries a great selection of baby products, including baby gear, furniture, nursery essentials, feeding items, bath and health products, toys, books, and clothing. Baby gear includes a variety of diaper bags, baby carriers, car seats, strollers, wagons, and changing stations. Families can shop for everything they need for their baby’s nursery, from cribs to dressers and storage items, to bassinets and rocking chairs, to changing pads and accessories.
Feeding items include high chairs, bibs, and utensils. Baby and Kids 1st also carries bath and health items. Such as soaps, lotions, towels, bath toys, diaper caddies, brushes, nasal aspirators, teething toys, pacifiers, thermometers, medication dispensers, and much more – everything parents need to take care of their little ones!
